Urgent, insistent,
the primal thrusting never falters
as the id shrieks its ancient message
just below the surface of consciousness.
Create! Create!
Pour your essence into the universe,
splatter those random bits of
your you-ness everywhere you can.
Make new life from the slime and slurry
of your loins and your mind
and your unquenchable singularity.
Coat the cosmos in an epidemic
of multiplicity,
pay no nevermind to where it flows,
just do it -
often, deeply,
drunk or sober,
with love or with lust,
eyesopeneyesclosed,
no matter.
Dance the neverending spiral
of the eternal mystery
as you pour it all -
everything you've got and ever had -
into the warm and waiting universal womb.
